uWebshop makes use of a single product catalog for your products and pricing. Each country you support has it's own product information, product pricing and sale options, in their own language and currency.

Within your product catalog you can create unlimited categories and products. Each product can have unlimited product variations with their own pricing. Each pricing can have an unlimted number of pricing variants. One product can have multiple images connected on the detail page of the product. A pricing variant could be: 10 euro extra for the XL version.

Example: The product is an Package. The product variations could be: Package Download and Package Hosted. Each with their own pricing.

Shipping costs for an order are based on shipping zones defined by you. Each zone has it's own pricing per shop-country, thereby creating one understandable and easy to manage shopping cost overview. It's possible to define a shipping cost amount per specific product amount in an order.

Customer profiles are based on the default .net membership. The Complete integration into the Umbraco member profiles makes the uWebshop customers equal to Umbraco members. The required or optional profile fields are fully customizable, so you can decide what profile information you want from your clients and which of them are required with an order.

uWebshop is built with the idea to easily connect payment providers. In Umbraco you can define one (or more!) provider(s) you want to use in your shop. You can find payment providers in the SuperSimpleWebshop contribution project on codeplex.

uWebshop will not be the payment contractor for your shop payment provider. You have to use your own credentials and contracts.

The layout and e-mails sent from a uWebshop are completely customizable. The pages and e-mails work with .net Masterpages XSLT files and our XSLT extention, just like you are used to in Umbraco. For E-Mails there is a set of replacement tags available to place content in the template (the template itself is created using XSLT). More information can be found in the documentation.
